We Will pick you up from your hotel to and visit the traditional market of Pisac (also spelled as Pisaq in Quechua). Then, down the road visit the archeological site of Pisac. Pisac is a well-established settlement that contains a lot of different constructions that was built during their maximum peak, where religious, urban and agricultural sector are clearly distinguished. This settlement also contains the biggest cemetery of the entire Tawantinsuyo (the land ruled by Inca Empire). After having Buffet style lunch in Urubamba, we Will continue our tour in this grand valley in the Fortified citadel Ollantaytambo. It is considered as a monumental work of the Incan architecture. It is a complex that combines military, religion, administrative, and agriculture. the main temple which is partially destroyed, shows a frontal stone canvas that is formed by perfectly assembling pieces of stone together. Finally, we will be heading to archaeological site of Chinchero. Surrounded by a magnificent view of the mountains flanked by the snowy Chicon Mountain and Waquey Willca, also known as Veronica Mountain. In the archaeological park you can find the remains of what was the royal treasury of Tupac Inca Yupanqui and next to a beautiful colonial temple built on Inca bases, where the past persists stubbornly as if the spirit of a millenarian culture clung to this place, refusing to disappear.
After this we will take you back to your hotel.
